SECOND OPINIONS ON HVAC QUOTES
Before you replace it, find out what's actually wrong
If you're holding a replacement quote on an air conditioner, furnace, heat pump, dual-fuel system, or ductless mini-split and you're not sure about it, we'll come out and look at the system and the proposal. Serving homes and businesses across Boise, Eagle, Meridian, and the greater Treasure Valley.

✓ Free quotes on replacement, installs, and remodels
✓ Often the honest answer is a repair, not a replacement
✓ $100 diagnostic, applied to repair or replacement, gets you a quote and a plan
We come out at no charge and look at the system and the quote you're holding. A system that gets condemned is often limited by something specific: charge, airflow, a failed part, or a decision made the day it was installed. Sometimes a repair solves it altogether. Sometimes it buys you a season or a few years to plan and budget on your own terms. Sometimes the quote is right, and you should still know why. Either way, you get to choose.
Call (208) 203-3000When an HVAC replacement quote is bigger than the problem
Being told the whole system has to go is a hard afternoon. The numbers are real, they're often five figures, and there's usually no obvious way to check them.
A Boise family got quoted over $40,000 by two companies to replace a system that turned out to be in good shape. What it needed was work on the ductwork, better access to the air handler, and drainage that fell the right direction. The real work started at only $2,000 and they staged the rest on their own timing.
A Wilder homeowner was told his older R-22 system had a leak that couldn't be repaired and the whole thing needed replacing. The leak was in a Schrader core, the valve core inside a service port, which is among the most repairable spots on a system. We replaced it, verified the seal, and weighed in the charge.
It runs the other way too. A Boise homeowner called us about water leaking from the indoor unit. We cleared the blocked drain and got it running, then told him that at 33 years old, more repairs weren't a good investment. He's replacing the system.
This applies whether you were quoted an air conditioner, furnace, full system changeout, heat pump, dual-fuel system, or ductless mini-split. The equipment differs. The question doesn't: is the replacement necessary, and if it is, is it the right one.
Measured first, explained plainly, and the choice is yours.
The visit
Same as any quote we give. We look at the system, read the proposal you're holding, and tell you what we see. No charge and no obligation.
The measurement
A quote answers what a new system costs. It doesn't answer whether you need one. While we're there we can measure the system and find out: charge and superheat, static pressure, airflow, electrical components under load, both coils. That's $100, applied to whatever work you have us do, and you keep the Visit Summary with every diagnostic reading and recommendation in it.
The plan
This is the part most quotes leave out. Whatever the answer turns out to be, you get the whole picture: what needs doing now, what can wait, and what it costs. Sometimes that's a repair worth doing. Sometimes it's a replacement, now or a few years out. You choose the order, the solution from good/better/best options, and the timeline instead of being handed one number and a decision.
