Condenser Restoration

Rinsing the outdoor unit helps, and it has a ceiling. Debris packs between the fins where a hose can't reach, and sprayed at the wrong angle it pushes that debris deeper.

What we do
–Open the unit and clear the coil from the inside out
–Measure fan bearings and blade pitch
–Check electrical and compressor connections
–Inspect the housing and correct what's out of spec
–Clear the cabinet floor, weep holes, and the pad
–Rinse debris far enough away that it can't be pulled back in
Two conditions this addresses
A packed coil is silent
The machine keeps cooling. It just runs longer, wears early, and reaches end of life years ahead of schedule.
Blocked weep holes are harder
Once they close they stay closed. Water stands permanently on the cabinet floor, and the frame, compressor mount, and coil mount rust. On an older unit those parts often aren't worth replacing, or aren't available.
